Graphic design is all about channeling and realizing the creative potential within, and creativity always thrives when it encounters new ideas and points of view. This is why it is very important for any aspiring graphic designer to visit new places and encounter new ideas – and let them stimulate their imagination.
Sicily has always been in the forefront of design, proven by the exquisite clothing of the famous Italian designers such as Domenico Dolce (of Dolce&Gabbana) or the imposing buildings designed by such historical greats of the Italian architecture as Filippo Juvarra or – more recently – Ernesto Basile. Sicilians are famous for their strong affection towards the beauty and aesthetics of art, and they are also very eager to share their knowledge on these topics.

They will have the chance to put what they have learnt to practice, with frequent and detailed feedback on their performance and how to improve. The course will also include visits to real professional studios where the participants will have the chance to see how the actual method of editing, developing, etc. looks like. In the end, an exhibition will be held where they can receive comments on their work from both each other and professionals.
Training Outcomes – At the end of the training, the participants are expected to have gained a lot of new skills as well as a huge amount of inspiration for future projects and performances. They will have the chance to share ideas and inspiration with fellow participants, while also experiencing how professional photography works in practice.
