What does a education systems and teaching methodologies do?

Target Group – Educators from various fields, teaching staff.

Objectives – The training course will expand participants‘ knowledge on learning disabilities and its effects on the pupils, as well as provide the solutions to the problems faced due to students‘ learning disorders.

Methodology – Through theoretical and practical activities, our methodology has been developed in order to bring teachers to reflect upon common issues faced in the education field and provide them with innovative strategies for teaching.

As an option, this course could be implemented in an innovative way by a certified facilitator who will use the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) methodology.

The training course will consist of the following activities

• Professional seminars will be conducted by recognized experts in the field. The emphasis will be put on the benefits of ICT in the classroom and the importance of communication during the teaching/learning processes;
• Numerous visits to local schools and an opportunity to engage in job-shadowing activities and workshops;
• Non-formal education: informal discussions among the participants and recognized experts in the field, sharing of personal experience during informal coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, an opportunity to observe the work of professionals in the informal environment.

Training Outcomes – After the training, attendees are expected to get a broader view of education systems in different countries and apply best practices observed during the training on daily basis at work. An important part of the training course in is the knowledge shared by local highly experienced experts successfully working in the field. This training will also expand participants’ career opportunities, as they will bring home experience and knowledge from abroad that will make them more prospective employees not only at their home country but also in the international labour market.
